The Capricorn Coast Region was proudly represented in South Australia’s iconic Barossa region, with Reef Distillers attending Tourism Australia’s inaugural “The Gathering” G’Day Media Program—an immersive celebration of the country’s finest producers, chefs and storytellers.
Hosted at Wonderground Barossa and Mirus Vineyards on 11 March 2026, the event brought together more than 100 global media, content creators and storytellers for an intimate evening that showcased premium Australian food, wine and culture. With appearances and activations from icons like Maggie Beer, R.M. Williams and Jurlique, the experience highlighted the depth and diversity of Australia’s world-class culinary and craft offering.
Reef Distillers’ founder, Laureth Rumble, represented the Capricorn Coast Region with authenticity and passion—sharing the story behind their handcrafted spirits and the unique coastal environment that inspires them. Across the evening, Laureth connected with leading storytellers and industry voices, sparking meaningful conversations about provenance, sustainability and the growing appeal of regional Australian experiences.
The program followed a welcome event at SOL Rooftop at SkyCity Adelaide, where around 80 guests gathered to kick off the experience—setting the tone for a weekend of connection, creativity and collaboration.
Reef Distillers’ presence at The Gathering reinforces the Capricorn Coast’s place within Australia’s evolving premium food and beverage landscape. As global interest continues to grow in authentic, experience-led travel, opportunities like this help position the region—and its producers—firmly on the national and international stage. From coast to glass, the Capricorn Coast continues to make its mark.
