New Destination Campaign Captured Across the Region

After weeks of planning and six days of filming across the wider Capricorn Coast Destination last week, Capricorn Enterprise has wrapped production on its largest destination content creation project to be undertaken in the past five years.

Without giving too much away just yet, the project has been designed to capture the feeling of our Destination — the moments, landscapes, people and experiences that leave a lasting impression long after a holiday ends.

Filmed across the Capricorn Coastline, Byfield, Rockhampton Region, hinterlands and the Keppel Islands, the campaign brought together local operators, passionate storytellers, professional tourism talent and creatives to help showcase a side of the region that feels genuine, grounded and deeply connected to place.

The production involved sunrise starts, long filming days, and a huge collaborative effort from tourism operators and industry partners across the destination.

Capricorn Enterprise’s Tourism and Marketing Manager, Krista Brown said the project had been a major undertaking and reflected the shared passion local industry has for the destination.

“This has been an enormous collaborative effort and we are incredibly grateful to the operators, businesses and community members who helped bring the project to life,” Krista said.

“From accommodation and experiences to meals, locations, logistics and behind-the-scenes support, the generosity shown by local industry throughout the production has been remarkable.”

“Projects of this scale simply aren’t possible without industry backing and a shared belief in the future of the wider Capricorn Coast Destination.”

The campaign will officially launch in the new financial year across digital and destination marketing platforms.

For now, Capricorn Enterprise says audiences will have to wait just a little longer to see the final result.
