Capricorn Caves is set to take visitors on a journey back in time after securing funding through Queensland Government’s Engaging Science Grant for cutting-edge virtual reality technology that will bring prehistoric worlds to life.
Launching alongside Dinosaur Week, the immersive new experience will allow visitors to step into the region’s ancient past like never before — blending tourism, education and innovation in a unique new attraction for the Capricorn Coast Region.
Developed in partnership with CQUniversity, the project is expected to boost visitor engagement, support educational outcomes and further cement Capricorn Caves’ reputation as one of Queensland’s most iconic and historically significant natural attractions.
