Applications are now open for Homegrown – Queensland’s Destination Events Fund Round 2 2026, providing funding opportunities to support the growth and development of destination events across Queensland.
Round 2 includes four funding streams:
- Destination Significant
- Destination Signature
- Destination Indigenous
- Destination Kickstarter
Eligible events must be held between April 2027 and June 2028, with applications closing Tuesday 6 October 2026.
Event organisers across the Capricorn region who are considering applying are strongly encouraged to book a discussion with the Homegrown team before submitting an application. These sessions provide an opportunity to discuss eligibility, identify the most appropriate funding stream and better understand application requirements.
