Experience the Unexpected’ with Travelbag’s new campaign featuring the Southern Great Barrier Reef

The Southern Great Barrier Reef (SGBR) has received exciting international tourism exposure with the launch of a new campaign by UK-based travel company Travelbag, showcasing the natural wonders and visitor experiences of the region, from reef to rainforest.

The $14,000 campaign investment by the three key SGBR regions—Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, and Bundaberg—has been made possible through a 50% subsidy provided by the Federal Government’s Export Marketing Development Grant (EMDG) (secured by Capricorn Enterprise) and leveraged with campaign activity by Tourism and Events Queensland’s UK Office.

Running for an initial period of six months, the campaign will feature a mix of digital marketing, social media promotions, and targeted travel content designed to engage UK adventurers interested in exploring Australia’s stunning coastal and eco-tourism destinations.

With carefully curated itineraries designed to take visitors on a journey through Queensland’s stunning coastal and hinterland destinations, Travelbag offers international visitors a seamless travel experience from Brisbane to the heart of the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

These itineraries allow travellers to explore vibrant cities, charming seaside towns, and world-class natural attractions while enjoying exceptional accommodation and unforgettable eco-tourism experiences.
