Our region’s 2020 economic profile – latest data now available

With 2020 in full swing, Capricorn Enterprise has recently updated its Economic Profile, presenting an overview of the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton area.
The profile provides up-to-date information and statistics on various economic and related indicators including demographics, employment, business and industry, building activity, tourism, education, transport and affordability.
With a breakdown of information on resident population, labour force statistics, production and activity in the agriculture and mining sectors, along with housing and building data, Capricorn Enterprise reports data from a wide range of reputable statistical sources.
In February, the profile will be updated with building activity data for 2019, including a concise summary of the number and value of building approvals in the region.
As new data and statistics are released, our team will ensure that the profile continues to promote the latest, up-to-date information.
