Island paradise sells out in less than 14 minutes

In just 14 minutes on Monday 6th September, 100 nights on Great Keppel Island were snapped up for just $1 as part of Tourism and Events Queensland’s ’20 Days of Holidays Like This’ campaign.

The campaign, which is now in it’s second week, showcases hot deals across the State, encouraging Queenslanders to prepare for the upcoming September holidays. Tourism and Events Queensland and News Corp’s Queensland mastheads are promoting incredible operator deals to support the state’s tourism industry ahead of the spring and summer breaks.

From reef to rollercoasters, waterfalls to wildlife, diving shipwrecks to discovering dinosaurs; Queenslanders are hot on the tail of purchasing incredible money can’t buy deals, jam-packed with unforgettable experiences, jumping at the opportunity this week to purchase a one-night stay at Great Keppel Island Hideaway for just $1, where they can spend their days swimming, snorkelling and diving in the beautiful Southern Great Barrier Reef waters.

In addition, a number of our local operators including SALT Apartments, Oshen Apartments Yeppoon, Absolute Waterfront Villa, Keppel Connections and Keppel Charters have paid premium positions as part of this campaign which will be featured for a month on Queensland.com website.

We encourage all operators to upload packages onto ATDW to be featured on Queensland.com and throughout the distribution network of Australian Tourism Partner websites, AND it’s not too late for tourism businesses to join the premium listings to be featured more prominently.
