Capricorn Enterprise is pleased to announce further additions to the stellar line up of speakers for the Major Projects Forum on 28th October 2021 at the Frenchville Sports Club.

The impressive list of speakers includes Carly Irving (Yurika, Ergon Energy), Leigh Walters (Clarke Creek Wind Farm, Goldwind Australia) and Elyse Reithmuller (Fitzroy Basin Association) joining familiar faces, Ian Macfarlane (Queensland Resources Council), Robert Sobyra (Constructions Skills Queensland) and Gene Tunny (Adept Economics) whose respected knowledge and insights have been highly appreciated at previous forums.

MPF2021 is the region’s premier industry event and an opportunity to join local industry partners in a day of learning and collaboration on the major projects and developments happening in our region.

The forum brings together project proponents and stakeholders to share updates, experiences and insights on future investments and industry trends. The 2021 themes include topics relevant to current major project initiatives, as well as forward-looking aspects of developments in our region, including project delivery, local content, future energy, technology and innovation.

Each Forum session will be followed with a panel discussion, enabling attendees to gain valuable insights into presentation topics.

Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll said, “As projects progress from proposal to design and drafting, from construction to completion, it remains key for industry to be informed and responsive to the evolving economic impacts.

“The Major Projects Forum in 2021 provides an opportunity to engage with industry and project proponents in understanding projects that are expected to sustain elevated levels of project activity and contribute to our regional economy.”

Hear from a 2020 Forum attendee:

Congratulations to you and the Capricorn Enterprise team, the 2020 Capricorn Major Projects Forum was awesome!

It was great to be able to attend a Capricorn Enterprise Event (finally) and you and your team certainly excelled– the speakers were exceptional and there were great opportunities to network.

I was really impressed with the Frenchville Sports Club COVID procedures etc. and the food and service was first class.

It was a very informative event and I am certain every participant gained greater insight and understanding of the projects and exciting opportunities for the business community in Central Queensland.
