Crimson Finch Brewery spreads its wings in the heart of Yeppoon

A little birdy told us there’s a new microbrewery on the horizon… and the team from Crimson Finch Brewery are proud to confirm the word on the ‘tweet’.

The Capricorn Coast’s newest brewing company bestowing refreshing beers that are simply perfect for our sub-tropical climate has been given the green light from Livingstone Shire Council to nest on Anzac Parade in Yeppoon.

With council approvals now in place, construction is set to commence on Crimson Finch HQ – the taproom room just stone’s throw from the beach overlooking magical Keppel Bay.

Head brewer, Carl Legros and the team have been working behind the scenes for close to 12 months on designing and developing the Crimson Finch brand and ethos and is excited to take another step closer to sharing the product with locals and visitors.

“The quality of our craft beer is our top priority, and we are committed to using only the finest ingredients to deliver some of the highest quality and best-tasting beers in the world.”

“We are represented by the Australian Crimson Finch – a bird that exudes freedom and elegance, and has a personality renowned for its boldness and confidence. A true illustration of our beer, our brand and what we stand for,” Carl said.

Boasting local craftsmanship and mate ship, Carl and wife Rachael join Wayne and Laureth Rumble and Grant and Tanya Lynch on this exciting adventure.

With their stories, laughter and passions aligning into reality, the three duos are on a mission to share Crimson Finch with the world.

“There’s been too little sharing in the world of late, so we hope to change that narrative by sharing a local craft beer, sharing a laugh, and sharing memories,” Carl said.

Shaking their tail feathers over the coming months to finalise construction, the team at Crimson Finch are hoping to throw open the HQ doors as soon as possible.

“It’s all systems go for us now and we need to ensure that all the cogs keep turning so that we can start quenching the communities thirst!” Carl said.

Capricorn Enterprise CEO, Mary Carroll congratulates Crimson Finch on their success to date, and is certain the microbrewery will be incredibly well received by the Capricorn Coast community.

“Sipping on a locally brewed beer while taking in our destination’s coastal landscape and laid back vibes is certainly a recipe for success and we look forward to working closely with Crimson Finch into the future,” Mary said.

“The Capricorn Coast is one of the faster-growing areas outside the southern corner and continues to see a surge in new businesses.”

“As growth continues right across our region, Capricorn Enterprise remains committed to working with and supporting local business to ensure that our localities continue to thrive.”
