Yeppoon’s Crimson Finch Brewery soars into the world of canned beer

t’s time to ‘raise a can’ to craftsmanship, community, and the pursuit of exceptional beer as the Capricorn Coast’s newest craft brewery, Crimson Finch, announces a significant milestone just seven months after swinging open their doors to the public for the first time.
Recently clinching awards for four of their beers at the Royal QLD Beer Awards in Brisbane, Crimson Finch Brewery is proud to announce the launch of its inaugural canned collection, set to grace shelves in June. This marks a pivotal moment for the brewery, offering beer enthusiasts the chance to savour Yeppoon’s award-winning local flavours wherever they roam.
Leading the charge is head brewer Carl Legros, whose unwavering dedication to crafting top-tier brews shines through in each can.
“We are incredibly excited to introduce our canned beers to the community and beyond,” says Carl.
“With our signature collection now available in convenient cans, we’re making it easier than ever for beer lovers to experience the Crimson Finch difference.”
To celebrate this milestone, Crimson Finch invites the community to a special tasting event at Yeppoon’s Star Liquor Warehouse on Friday, June 7th, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
Guests will enjoy sampling all four beers, engaging with the brewery team, and being the first to snag their takeaway cans.
The inaugural canned collection includes:
Sunset Summer Ale: A refreshing, and vibrant ale designed to evoke the feeling of a balmy summer evening. With citrusy notes and a hint of tropical fruits, Sunset Summer Ale promises to be the perfect companion for any outdoor adventure or laid-back gathering.
Flight Delayed Hazy Pale Ale: Embrace the unexpected with Flight Delayed Hazy Pale Ale, a brew inspired by the unpredictable nature of travel. Bursting with juicy hop flavours and a smooth, hazy finish, this pale ale is sure to take your taste buds on a journey of their own.
Japanese Lager: Crafted in homage to the rich brewing traditions of Japan, Crimson Finch’s Japanese Lager offers a crisp and clean drinking experience. With a delicate balance of malt sweetness and a subtle hop character, this lager is a testament to precision and finesse. Crimson Finch’s Japonica Japanese Lager was a winner at the Royal QLD Beer Awards!
Fledge Lager: Embark on a flavour-filled flight with Fledge Lager, a brew that embodies the spirit of exploration. Whether you’re unwinding after a long day or celebrating life’s victories, this classic lager delivers uncompromising taste and refreshment with every sip.
Following the initial launch, Crimson Finch will expand its range to include the popular Mid-Air Lager and Wild Road Porter, which was yet another gold medallist at the recent QLD Awards.
Crimson Finch’s canned beers will be available for purchase at select venues across Yeppoon, including The Alley, Pumpkin Island, and the upcoming The Station 4703, as well as through the brewery’s taproom on Anzac Parade. More venues will be added, ensuring easy access to the range.
