The cornerstone of this initiative is the transition to a unified procurement platform. This platform will consolidate Queensland Government and local council tendering opportunities, making it easier for businesses to discover and engage with these opportunities in one centralised location.
Powered by VendorPanel, buyers from various sectors will utilise the new platform, including Queensland Government, local councils, government-owned corporations, not-for-profit organisations, and universities. This broad adoption ensures a wide range of opportunities for suppliers.
Businesses are encouraged to create a free supplier profile and publish their details in the supplier marketplace. This will enhance visibility to Queensland Government buyers and enable businesses to receive notifications about relevant tender opportunities and be invited to participate in request for quotes without fees to quote, tender, or supply to Queensland Government procurement activities.
Once registered on the procurement platform, suppliers will access a comprehensive list of quote and tender opportunities from the Queensland Government. This streamlined process is designed to foster greater efficiency and accessibility in government procurement.
