Bodhi Surf, one of Yeppoon’s favourite locally owned surf and lifestyle brands, is stepping confidently into a new chapter with the launch of Shore2Door — an innovative same-day delivery and visitor concierge service helping travellers enjoy the Capricorn Coast from the moment they arrive.
Created and trademarked by Bodhi Surf owner Shelly Broom, Shore2Door offers visitors seamless access to surf gear, beach essentials, accessories, and curated lifestyle products delivered directly to their accommodation.
“Shore2Door is about making holidays easier,” Shelly said. “If guests arrive and realise they need something — sunscreen, swimmers, a beach umbrella, or a Bodhi gift pack — we can have it at their door that same day. It’s convenience with a coastal twist.”
Shore2Door aims to elevate the Capricorn Coast’s accommodation and visitor experience, providing operators with a simple, value-adding service that enhances guest convenience and satisfaction.
“Launching Shore2Door in Yeppoon first is important to me,” Shelly said. “This region shaped Bodhi Surf, and I want this service to strengthen our visitor experience and support our tourism community.”
With support from the Australian Surf Industry Association (ASIA), Shelly has connected with surf retailers across the East Coast who have offered guidance and industry insights. These early industry conversations have already sparked interest in the potential for future digital expansion, including the development of a Shore2Door mobile app, allowing visitors to browse products, place orders, and schedule deliveries seamlessly.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll welcomed the launch of the new service and praised Shelly’s commitment to enhancing the region’s tourism offering.
