Capricorn Region Visitor Guide Rolls Out Across Queensland

The 2026/27 Capricorn Coast Region – Yeppoon & Rockhampton Visitor Guide has officially arrived — and this year marks a standout milestone for the region’s flagship visitor publication.

As a major marketing initiative of Capricorn Enterprise, the Visitor Guide plays a critical role in promoting the region, supporting local businesses and driving visitation across Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton.

Spanning 96 pages, the guide has welcomed a record number of advertisers, reflecting strong business confidence and continued growth across the Region’s visitor economy. The increased demand has enabled the guide to expand by four pages, showcasing even more local experiences, operators and businesses to inspire travellers.

With 50,000 printed copies in circulation, the Visitor Guide remains the Region’s primary piece of printed marketing collateral and the most trusted planning resource for those visiting or relocating to the Capricorn Coast & Rockhampton area.

The first shipment has arrived at the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre in time for the Easter school holiday period, with distribution also underway to accredited Visitor Information Centres across Queensland. Importantly, Visitor Guides are also available for non-tourism businesses to stock and display, please contact vicsupervisor@capricornenterprise.com.au if you are interested in stocking the guide.

This year’s digital guide has also been developed with accessibility at its core, supporting screen readers and text-to-speech functionality so content can be read aloud on audio-enabled devices. Adjustable viewing options and keyboard navigation further enhance usability, ensuring the guide is accessible to a broader range of travellers.

With a 12-month shelf life and curated distribution strategy, the Visitor Guide continues to place local businesses directly in front of audiences ready to explore, book, eat, stay and spend — playing a critical role in driving visitation and supporting the region’s tourism industry.

Capricorn Enterprise extends its sincere thanks to all advertisers for their continued support in bringing this year’s guide to life.
