Final week to secure discounted tickets for Major Projects and Industry Forum 2026

Businesses, investors and community stakeholders are being encouraged to secure their place at Capricorn Enterprise’s Major Projects and Industry Forum 2026 before early bird registrations close on 30 June.

To be held at the Jabiru Events Centre, Yeppoon, on Friday 18 September, the annual forum will bring together industry leaders, government and major project proponents to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping Central Queensland’s future.

This year’s program will feature themed sessions covering residential growth, priority infrastructure, energy, mining, manufacturing and regional investment, with presentations from organisations including the Queensland Resources Council, Stanwell, Ergon Energy Network, BRAVUS Carmichael Mine, Whitehaven Blackwater Coal and ARK Energy’s Boomer Green Energy Hub.

Attendees will also hear updates on major regional projects including the $2 billion Rockhampton Ring Road, Blueprint Livingstone’s priority developments, expansion of the Gateway Business and Industry Park, the Capricorn Coast Homemaker Centre Stage Two, the East-West Connector, Keppel Eats’ Value Adding Facility, and preparations for BEEF2027.

Responding to growing housing demand across the region will also be a key focus, with representatives from Lincoln Lifestyle Yeppoon, Mildura Rise Rockyview, Ellida Estate Rockhampton, Ingenia Communities and Construction Skills Queensland presenting insights into the workforce and infrastructure needed to support sustainable growth, including highlights from CSQ’s Horizon 2032 outlook.

Global Supply Chain Futurist James Lisica will headline the event, presenting on the “Future Economy of Central Queensland”.

Capricorn Enterprise Chief Executive Officer Mary Carroll said the forum continued to provide an important platform for businesses and the community to gain firsthand insights into the projects and industries driving regional prosperity.

“Central Queensland is undergoing significant transformation across energy, resources, residential development and infrastructure, and this forum provides a unique opportunity to hear directly from those leading that growth,” Mary said.

“This event is relevant not only to business owners and investors, but also to government representatives, community groups and residents who are interested in understanding where our region is heading and the opportunities that lie ahead.”

The all-day forum will commence at 8.15am following a 7.45am registration and includes morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and networking drinks at the conclusion of the event.

Early bird registrations close on 30 June, with tickets currently priced at $99 for Capricorn Enterprise members and $139 for non-members.

FROM 1 JULY, REGISTRATION FEES WILL DOUBLE TO $198 FOR MEMBERS AND $278 FOR NON-MEMBERS, MAKING THIS THE FINAL WEEK TO SECURE DISCOUNTED TICKETS.
