Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton residents are being encouraged to rediscover their own backyard and support local tourism businesses through a new Queensland tourism incentive offering $100 off eligible experience bookings.
The Queensland Regional Rewards campaign, delivered by Tourism and Events Queensland in partnership with RACQ and Experience Oz, provides a $100 discount on eligible bookings of $200 or more when customers use the code QLD100 at checkout.
A range of fabulous experiences are participating in the campaign, giving locals the opportunity to enjoy some of the region’s most popular attractions and tours at a reduced price. Participating operators include Keppel Konnections, Freedom Fast Cats, Capricorn Caves, Funtastic Cruises, Great Keppel Island Hideaway, High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm, Cooberrie Park Wildlife Sanctuary, Capricorn Dinosaur Park and Warama Culture.
The campaign is expected to generate significant economic benefits for regional Queensland, with more than 10,000 discounted bookings available statewide and millions of dollars in visitor expenditure flowing directly to tourism businesses.
Capricorn Enterprise Tourism Marketing Manager Krista Brown said the campaign was a fantastic opportunity for locals to experience the region’s diverse tourism offerings while directly supporting local businesses.
“From reef adventures and island escapes to wildlife encounters, cultural experiences and farm-based tourism, our region offers an incredible range of experiences that many locals are yet to discover for themselves,” Krista said. “Tourism is a major contributor to our local economy, supporting jobs, small businesses and communities across the Capricorn Coast.”

The offer is available for a limited time and applies to eligible bookings of $200 or more made through Experience Oz using the code QLD100. Bookings are available until allocations are exhausted.
