One of the Capricorn Coast’s most loved boutiques is celebrating a remarkable milestone, with Moana Blue marking 20 years in business and 10 years under the ownership of Linda Eaton.
Since opening its doors in 2006, Moana Blue has become a favourite destination for locals and visitors alike, offering coastal-inspired fashion, accessories and exceptional personalised service. Over the past decade, Linda has continued to build on the boutique’s strong reputation, embracing change while maintaining the warm and welcoming atmosphere that has made Moana Blue a Yeppoon institution.
Linda said the milestone was a proud achievement and a testament to the incredible support of the local community.
“Celebrating 20 years of Moana Blue is incredibly special, and it’s something we simply couldn’t have achieved without our loyal customers,” Linda said.
“Whether you’ve visited us as a local or discovered us while holidaying on the Capricorn Coast, thank you for choosing to shop with us over the years. Your support has meant everything.”
Linda also acknowledged the dedicated team who have helped shape the business.
“I’ve always said the staff at Moana Blue are pure gold. I’m incredibly fortunate to work alongside such knowledgeable, caring and hardworking women who genuinely love helping our customers. They are a huge part of what makes Moana Blue so special.”
The retail landscape has evolved significantly over the past decade. When Linda took over the business, Moana Blue had no Facebook, Instagram or online store. Today, the boutique connects with customers across Australia through its digital platforms while continuing to deliver the personalised in-store experience it is known for.
“Some of our customers have been with us from the very beginning. Many have become friends, and sharing their stories, milestones and memories has been one of the greatest privileges of owning this business,” Linda said.
