Capricorn at GC2018 Investment Lunch

A strong contingency from Capricorn attended the Tourism Investment lunch on the Gold Coast yesterday at Queensland’s Official GC2018 business venue, Commonwealth House at Broadbeach.
Attracting investment in Queensland’s tourism infrastructure is a priority for the Queensland Government, with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk and the Honourable Kate Jones MP, Minister for Innovation and Tourism Industry Development and Minister for the Commonwealth Games, hosting this first official business event of GC2018. 120 Tourism industry leaders, businesses, government representatives and investors were in attendance with Capricorn’s contingency the strongest regional representation in Queensland.
In attendance were Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll, Livingstone Shire Mayor Bill Ludwig and Deputy Mayor Nigel Hutton, Knight Frank Principal Pat O’Driscoll, Tower Holdings Terry Agnew and Anthony Aiossa and The Cassidy Group Principal Grant Cassidy.
Minister Jones made special mention of Great Keppel Island featuring strongly in the TEQ campaign launched this week as well as the $25 Million state government funding committed for water and power infrastructure to the island, commenting on the key role that Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll has played in lobbying for this destination.
