Exercise Wallaby a great success – Singapore Armed Forces Appreciation Dinner

After a two year hiatus, the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) were thrilled with a successful Exercise Wallaby 2022, where 4,000 SAF troops trained at Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area. (SBMTA).
Colonel Lim Lit Lam, Deputy Chief Armour Officer/SAF Head Admin for Exercise Wallaby 2022, was pleased to host an appreciation dinner for Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast Local Government and Business colleagues who helped make their exercise a great success.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll, who has participated in two business delegations to Singapore reflects upon a long and positive association with our SAF colleagues.
SAF has been training at SBMTA for over thirty years, celebrating their 25th Anniversary in November 2015.
When the ASMTI (Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative) reaches maturity , currently scheduled for 2028, up to 14,000 SAF personnel will conduct unilateral training for up to 18 weeks a year, for 25 years in the SBMTA and the Greenvale Training Area being designed in North Queensland.
