2023 Best of Queensland Experiences Program

Checklist for the 2023 Best of Queensland Experiences Program

Does your tourism experience exceed guest expectations?

The Best of Queensland Experiences (BOQE) Program can help your business by providing you with free consumer insights on your experience offering (valued at over $1000). This report allows you to benchmark your experience against others across the state and identify areas to enhance your offering.

Listing your business on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW), means your tourism experience is automatically assessed as part of the program.

The Stamp of Recognition was introduced to the program in 2022 as an additional benefit for BOQE businesses to utilise and now features predominately on their ATDW listings on Queensland.com

What do I need to do for the 2023 assessment? In order for your business to be included and assessed correctly (and receive your unique consumer insights report), ensure the following information is current as of Saturday, 31 December 2022:

• A live and up-to-date listing on the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) as of 31 December 2022 (log in to check your expiry date)

• While you’re there – check your online booking, social media and Trip Advisor links are correct in ATDW (we use these for the assessment)

• Continue to encourage guests to leave positive feedback via their preferred online review platform (Consumer reviews are assessed from 1 Jan – 31 Dec 2022. You must receive at least 25 positive reviews during that time to generate a GRI score)

• Check your RTO (Regional Tourism Organisation) membership is current

  • Complete any recognised accreditation programs.
