It’s the story of a ‘happily ever after’ that saved a piece of Rockhampton’s history, and this Sunday at 5.30pm, Australia’s award-winning venue dials up the romance on Channel 9’s My Way.
With a history dating back to approximately 1870, the family owned, and operated St Aubins Village proudly boasts quaint cottages and picturesque gardens set upon two acres.
In June 2017, Brian and Janice Dawson purchased St Aubins Village following the wedding of their daughter Lauren to Charlie Myors.
The labour of love has now grown to become one of Rockhampton’s most popular venues for many couples to say, ‘I do’, and St Aubins Village has recently taken out an Australian Wedding Award in the category of Unique Venues.
The Teahouse and Boutique Gift Shop were opened to the public in 2021 and serves up breakfast, lunch, morning/afternoon tea and barista made coffee.
Get your heart fluttering and tune into Channel 9 or 9Now this Sunday at 5.30pm.
Following the initial airing, the full episode will be available on the 9Now platform, the 9now.nine.com.au/my-way website, and the Channel 9 YouTube channel.
