Post ATE Capricorn Coast Famil Wows More International Agents!

Following a successful week at Brisbane’s ATE25, Capricorn Enterprise in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), Tourism Australia (TA) and our industry operators were provided another opportunity to host four key international agents to our region from Friday 2nd to Tuesday 6th May.  All first time visitors to the Capricorn Coast Region, Narissa, Paola, Josh and Paula specialising in Inbound from the US, NZ, Italy, Spain and broader Europe/UK were another great group who didn’t let the inclement weather get in the way of a great famil.

Hosted by Eloise Chaffers (and assisted by Mary Carroll), our guests enjoyed 2 nights on the mainland and 2 nights on Great Keppel Island and were impressed by the diversity of the region.  After a Rockhampton city tour, the group enjoyed a site inspection at Hedlow Retreat with lunch provided by the Waterline Restaurant, prior to departing for a site inspection and buggy ride at Castle Rock Farm at Byfield.

Our guests were wowed by the Capricorn Caves Cathedral tour and mini explorer tour on Saturday, followed by a birds eye view over the city and coast from Mount Archer Nurim Skywalk and a Yeppoon town tour with some down time.  Tours through High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm & Tiny Houses, followed by Koorana Crocodile Farm then the afternoon Keppel Konnections ferry to Great Keppel Island ended day three, with a buggy ride to enjoy the stunning Long Beach on Great Keppel Island on Sunday.

With thanks to the Waterline Restaurant, KBM and GKI Bar & Bistro for providing complimentary meals, the guests were again impressed by the variety of cafes and restaurants on offer including Ofishal, Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant, The Station 4703 and Lure Living.
