Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast is once again playing host to Exercise Wallaby 2025, the Singapore Armed Forces’ largest overseas training exercise. Now in its 35th year, the annual event brings thousands of personnel and hundreds of military vehicles through Rockhampton, Port Alma and the Shoalwater Bay Training Area.
Beyond its military importance, Exercise Wallaby delivers a major economic boost for the Rockhampton and Capricorn Coast region – local suppliers provide fuel, catering, transport and accommodation, while visiting personnel support the local economy by experiencing the region’s attractions and services.
