Last week we welcomed the Backyard Travel Family from NZ, during their two week whirlwind itinerary from Cairns to the Gold Coast, with thanks to Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and participating tourism operators. Experiencing Rainforest to Reef on the Capricorn Coast, Jen and her three delightful children stayed in Castle Rock Farm’s Eco Deck Glamping product for two nights and explored Byfield rainforest, Stony Creek and the Byfield township. They enjoyed a magical day on the water with Freedom Fast Cat’s Adventure Cruise to Great Keppel Island, as well as a visit to Koorana Crocodile Farm and Capricorn Caves, before continuing on with their road trip along Queensland’s Holiday Highway! While for this trip, Jen’s husband had to stay at home on their NZ dairy farm, she is already planning a family holiday to our beautiful destination.
