Capricorn Caves Launches Exciting Summer Adventures for All Ages

Central Queensland families are invited to dive into adventure this school holiday season with Capricorn Caves’ Summer Adventures program—a unique blend of outdoor excitement, wildlife encounters, and hands-on learning experiences.

The program has something for everyone: thrill-seekers can try Rock & Rope abseiling, while nature lovers can enjoy up-close wildlife encounters with Capricorn Wildlife Connections, learning about and interacting with local native animals.

Participants can also join Toad Bust Nights in partnership with CQ University, helping to protect the local environment.

Younger children can spark their curiosity on Kids Adventure Day and Kids Explorer Day, while teens can unleash their energy on Teen Adrenalin Day or explore the Floating Wrecks at Hedlow Creek.

“Summer Adventures at Capricorn Caves is all about getting kids and families outdoors, learning through experience, and creating memories that last a lifetime,” said Jill Neyland, Outdoor and Environmental Education Manager.

“We’re proud to offer a program that combines adventure, education, and conservation, right here in Central Queensland.”

Capricorn Caves is committed to providing safe, educational, and unforgettable experiences for the local community. This summer, families can beat the heat, connect with nature, and enjoy unique activities without leaving the region.
