The Queensland Government is investing $1.3 million through the Grassroots Environmental Grants program to support 16 community-led projects restoring Queensland’s coastal and marine environments. The funding will deliver practical initiatives, including creek and riverbank restoration, seagrass rehabilitation and innovative projects such as Living Oyster Gardens at Tallebudgera Creek, to improve waterway health and protect marine habitats.
