More local restaurants added to the BEEF21 Seal of Approval line up

With BEEF21 well underway in Rockhampton this week, a number of our Capricorn Enterprise Member restaurants serving up the ultimate in delectable beef dishes have been awarded Beef Australia’s official Seal of Approval.

Joining the award-winning Waterline Restaurant in Rosslyn Bay, who was one of the first to receive the Seal, are popular favourites Vue Wine Bar and Restaurant, Headrick’s Lane, CocoBrew and Skyring’s Restaurant & Bar, who have all been recognised for their service of top quality beef.

The Seal of Approval, which recognises brand integrity and those businesses that promote the use of Australian beef, was launched in conjunction with Australia’s largest beef expo, to highlight the true paddock to plate indulgence that can be experienced locally.

Restaurants receiving the Seal of Approval have prepared events and special menu’s during BEEF21 (2-8th May) to join the celebrations of the week. See details below…

Keppel Bay Sailing Club (added 26 May 2021)

The newest inductee into the ‘Beef21 Seal of Approval’ fold – Keppel Bay Sailing Club!

Keppel Bay Sailing Club’s Clubhouse’s head chef Joe Quinn was presented with the Seal of Approval from Beef Australia on the evening of 19th May by SOA Coordinator Nola Pontifex following a tasting of the Black Angus Tomahawk Steak.

The steak was infused in truffle oil and garlic accompanied by 3 delicious sauces from a choice of 6, with sweet potato and curly fries and a salad. We also HAD to try the Reef and Beef eye fillet steak and the 400gm Black Angus Rump. Nola was introduced to the kitchen brigade by Joe and undertook an inspection of the coldroom and the meats used by KBSC which are sourced from Yeppoon Central Meats.

The front of house staff provided excellent service and the meal was thoroughly enjoyed by the Beef Australia staff tasked with the tasting.
