The Capricorn Coast is celebrating the official opening of Villa La Sini, a vibrant new accommodation option that marks a significant milestone for Yeppoon’s tourism landscape.
Located at 68–70 Queen Street, Yeppoon, Villa La Sini offers contemporary, motel-style accommodation in the heart of town — just a short stroll from beaches, cafés, shops, and local attractions.
Developed by the Roth family, well known locally through their long-standing business Roth Plumbing, the project represents a major private investment in the region’s visitor economy.
The Stage 1 opening introduces 17 brand-new motel rooms and 10 powered caravan sites, continuing to pay homage to the site’s history as the much-loved Maine Caravan Park, which this year would have celebrated its 55-year milestone. When complete, Stage 2 will expand the property to 34 rooms in total, offering even more opportunities for visitors to experience Yeppoon’s relaxed coastal charm.
Owner Justin Roth said the official opening marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both his family and the region’s tourism offering.
“Villa La Sini has been a labour of love — built to a high standard and with the vision of enhancing Yeppoon’s appeal as a destination,” Justin said. “We’re proud to open our doors and welcome guests to experience this modern coastal retreat, designed to celebrate our region’s relaxed lifestyle and community spirit.”
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll welcomed the addition as an exciting boost to local accommodation capacity.
“Villa La Sini is a valuable boost to our accommodation inventory at a time when demand for high-quality, local stays is strong,” Mary said. “It demonstrates investor confidence in the Capricorn Coast region and helps us attract more visitors to stay longer and explore more.”
Villa La Sini is now open and taking bookings, offering visitors a stylish and convenient new base in the heart of Yeppoon. For more information or to make a booking, visit villalasini.com.au.
