Our region’s 2021 economic profile – latest data now available

Capricorn Enterprise has recently updated its Economic Profile, presenting an overview of the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton area.
The profile provides up-to-date information and statistics on various economic and related indicators including demographics, employment, business and industry, building activity, tourism, education, transport and affordability.
With a breakdown of information on resident population, labour force statistics, production and activity in the agriculture and mining sectors, along with housing and building data, Capricorn Enterprise reports data from a wide range of reputable statistical sources.
In September, the profile has been updated with building activity data for the 2021/22 financial year, including a concise summary of the number and value of building approvals in the region, as well as employment, demographic and housing data.
